The civil aviation authority (SHGM) decides for every morning, field by field, from the wind, visibility and other weather. Operators may only fly when their field has a green flag.
When is the decision announced?
Usually the evening before; it can still be updated early in the morning before take-off. This page and the site's header follow it automatically.
What do green, yellow and red mean?
Green: flights are allowed. Yellow: on hold — the decision may still change. Red: flights are cancelled for that morning.
